Guess who's back, back again.

Anywho!

I came back from my weekend getaway last night, and I already want to go back. One more year, and I plan on being back in California for good! At least that's what the plan is (again). It was a short "vacation" but a good one nonetheless. I arrived in Corona Friday night- after a long 5 hours and 30 minutes- and Stephen came over after he got off work. Saturday morning we went to Roscoe's with Andrew and Tam, and Stephen finally got a taste of heaven. Went to Daisy afterwards to see the family, but only Tita Brenda and Jelly were home. Then me and Stephen went to go watch UP! Other than the two guys sitting next to us, I think we were the only people there without any kids haha. I don't care, cuz I LOVED it. After the movie we headed back to Corona and grabbed some beef bowl on the way- even though it doesn't do any justice to the real Yoshinoya. On Sunday morning we ate sushi with April and Rudy before I left. I was supposed to leave by 3, but ended up leaving at 7 because you know how good-byes go...

Now that I'm back in Vegas, it's back to life and back to reality. Today was the first day of summer school, and it's already off to a pretty good start. The one thing I love about being back at a Community College is that the teachers are dedicated to their students. In my Sociology textbook last semester, it said that most University professors are more concerned with their own research because they're going for their Doctorates, whereas the top priority for a professor at a Community College is his/her students. My BUS101 teacher is a prime example of that. If I had him when I first took the course at UNLV, I never would have withdrawn from the class, and my major of choice would probably still be Business Management. I still want to major in Women's Studies, but maybe I'll considering having a minor in Business Management or Marketing.

Ok- no more stalling. My online Psychology class already has a lot of stuff due by 11PM tonight, so I better get the whip cracking on that. I just felt compelled to blog since I'm returning to Blogspot.
